BOE Approves Lochbuie Schools Transition

This past fall, the District Accountability Committee (DAC) and district administration explored a number of issues including declining enrollment in Lochbuie schools,

school capacity across the district, and transportation shortages. Based on community feedback, a proposal was developed to accommodate Lochbuie students in grades PK-8 at

Lochbuie Elementary School and Meadow Ridge Elementary School over a transitional three year period. 

Based on overwhelming community feedback, the Board of Education approved the proposal on February 28.
