2019-2020 Technology Updates

Weld County School District (Re-3J) is committed to addressing the ever changing technology needs of students in the modern classroom.

Thanks to the passing of the Mill-Levy-Override in 2016, the District has been able to provide 1 to 1 classroom access to Chromebooks for 2nd through 12th Grades! Starting in the 2019-2020 school year, the District will be assigning a Chromebook to every student at the High School level to take home.

In addition, in the 2019-2020 school year, the District will be providing a Chromebook cart, consisting of 30 Chromebooks, to the 1st grade sections at each Elementary school.

Lastly, we've taken great lengths to update every classroom projector and smart device over the summer, allowing for a more consistent learning environment. Over the course of the fall, the Technology department will be completing the installation of a classroom voice amplification system, to allow the teacher to be heard by all students, no matter where they are positioned in the classroom.

We're looking forward to a very exciting and productive 2019-2020 school year and can't wait to hear your feedback.
